HAPPY BIRTHDAY
YOGI BERRA !
|
This all started last month when my wife gave me the book COOPERSTOWN for my birthday. I am far from the biggest base ball fan to ever come down the pike, but when it comes to the players of the Capital Of Baseball (That would be NY with 3 Incredible Teams ) from the 1950's, well I am a big softie. Looking through the book , I came upon a player, I had been meaning to contact for some time and as it turned out his birthday was a day away from mine ... Neither of us were getting any younger (he just turned 84) and well a copy of the letter I sent him will explain the rest of the story
