CALENDAR GIRL

Calendars both big and small were just a small part of the Knapp publishing empire. Although from the latter 1800's through 1929, Knapp published them by the millions, and for many more calendar publishers, Knapp supplied the stock artwork. Here are a few more samples of some Knapp calendar girls 1890's -1920's

P's & Q's

Based on the various samples I have of it from 1892 - 1932, I think that is probably J. P. Knapp's own handwriting printed on this card ( the p's are very similar) He also had a habit of double underlining words he wanted to emphasize. The 1 1/2 cent postage dates this to circa 1925.
