Jerry Leiber passed away yesterday Aug 22, 2011. He was one half of the most prolific songwriting team that will probably ever come down the pike. Leiber & Stoller didn't just write em, they were the first indy producers as well and had their fingers on the pulse of Americas youth and young at heart all over the world.
