"BUCKS COTTAGE"
Here in his own hand are William Buck Dana's very specific instructions for the construction of "Buck's Cottage on Floyd St. in April of 1890.
This may well be the home that became known today as the " Dana Gatehouse " that is still standing strong at the end of Riverside Ave. In the early 1900's it was occupied by Dana Estate superintendant Merritt Cash Penney and his family Adelaide, Clarence, Leonard and Willis.
